Learn Spanish

Private lessons

I teach online 1:1 and group lessons to learners of all levels, including completely beginners. I focus on the skills that learners need to develop and include activities they enjoy doing.

1:1 lessonsGroup lessons30-min chats
Weekly lessons for students who prefer a structured monthly planning.
We usually follow a course book that covers your needs and encourages you to do autonomus learning between lessons.
The perfect option for small groups of friends or partners learning Spanish together.
We will do activities in pairs and practise in groups.
For learners who need more flexibility and want to fit quick lessons or conversations in their days.
You pick a slot from the available timetable and we talk about the topic you want to discuss and practise.
Preparation for DELE/SIELE

Lessons for learners who want to sit for the DELE/SIELE tests.

All the lessons follow a communicative approach, meaning we speak in Spanish as much as we can, considering the level. The lesson plan is discussed beforhand and the activities can be adapted. The most important thing is that you feel confortable during the classes.

Read some reviews from my students to know more about my teaching style:

I was recommended Ana as a Spanish teacher when I decided one to one learning benefitted me. Ana helped me feel confident practicing my Spanish and I noticed a steady development during my time with her (so did my partner’s family and friends whenever we went over to Spain). Ana adapted classes around my learning style which made it easier for me to learn and remember grammar and sentence structure rules. A super friendly and welcoming person, I look forward to learn even more from her. – Clare (2026)

Social y cultural events

I believe that languages should be part of your daily lives. The best way to incorporate a dosis of Spanish in your day is to do fun things outside of the classroom: visiting the museum, discussing a book or go for a walk.

I started the newsletter Palique News to share tips to learn Spanish and invite learners to events happening online and in person in Edinburgh. Subscribe now for free to learn more about future cultural events, conversation meetups and Spanish courses.
